When Piccolo House commissioned Sydney-based artist Morgan Stokes to create a site-specific sculpture for 385 Gore St, Fitzroy, the brief was for a work that would speak to the building and its context.
We’ve always believed that the most meaningful homes are the ones that support a life well lived. They are places of beauty, certainly, but also places of ease and connection. And these were the exact qualities that drew this resident to 385 Gore Street, Fitzroy.
For Piccolo House’s Development Director Toby Earle, quality is often defined by the amount of visual clutter than can be removed in the design process. Through restraint and a relentless focus on detail, he helps ensure that each Piccolo House project feels resolved, timeless and built to last.
