Piccolo House wins High Density Development Award

UDIA have honoured Piccolo House as 2021 winner of the High Density Development Award (10 storeys or less).

The Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Awards for Excellence are a celebration and promotion of the knowledge, skills and innovation of the Australian urban development industry. With a rigorous  8-month judging process, the UDIA Award is a sign of excellence, quality and industry best practice.

We are thrilled the judging panel awarded Piccolo House as the 2021 winner of the High Density Development Award (10 storeys or less).

UDIA noted the following,

“Piccolo House is an innovative build to rent residential complex in South Melbourne which also incorporates some retail and office space, including a luxurious headquarters for Piccolo.

The development has been commercially successful with all apartments fully leased within six weeks.

As an early example of the build to rent model Piccolo House proves what can be achieved for a niche market with a stand-out high-quality rental project.”

Thank you to Wood Marsh who we collaborated with on architecture and interior design.
