Piccolo House wins AIA Award 2020

Piccolo House

We are thrilled to announce our South Melbourne project, Piccolo House, has won the 2020 Victorian Architecture Award for Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing.

In collaboration with Wood March Architecture, Piccolo House effortlessly merges heritage and contemporary to deliver a landmark building comprised of luxury build-to-rent apartments, Nine Yards Eatery and our new penthouse office.

The Australian Institute of Architects jury noted,
“Subtly nuanced and craftily detailed, Piccolo House sits remarkably well in its setting. Picking up on both the materiality and theatre of Clarendon Street. A mixed use format not typecast or trapped in time but one that is robust in both structure and program. The jury considers this to be a multi-res model for the future.”

We are grateful to the studios and consultants we collaborate with and our dedicated team at Piccolo.

It takes exceptional people to create exemplary work.
