A Piccolo House – Gore Street, Fitzroy Display Suite Wins GOLD in the Melbourne Design Awards 2023
We are pleased to announce that our former display suite for A Piccolo House – Gore Street, Fitzroy has been awarded GOLD in the Pops-Ups, Display, Exhibit and Set Design category in the Melbourne Design Awards 2023.
The Melbourne Design Awards celebrates the very best of Melbourne design across a number of categories, including architecture, interior design and product design.
The Pops-Ups, Display, Exhibit and Set Design category recognises innovative and creative design of a temporary building or interior, exhibition, pop-up site, installation, fixture or interactive element. Special consideration was given to materials, finishes, signage and experience.
The display suite for A Piccolo House – Gore Street, Fitzroy was designed to illustrate the character, scale, amenities and timeless beauty of the 49 residences, giving prospective residents the chance to experience what life will be like in the finished homes once construction is complete in mid-2025.
A Piccolo House – Gore Street, Fitzroy is a collaboration between Piccolo and our long-term partners, architecture practice Woods Bagot and interior designer Hecker Guthrie.
Our vision was to create a collection of characterful, luxury homes tailored to those who wish to live inner-city, without compromising on space or amenities. In doing so, the development will set a new benchmark for Melbourne inner-city living.
Thank you to the committee and judges at Better Future, and congratulations to all fellow award winners.
