Appointed builder Hamilton Marino, whose craftsmanship brought 385 Gore Street, Fitzroy to life, will deliver the project. “Working with trusted, repeat builders makes a significant difference,” says Piccolo Development Director Toby Earle, explaining that, “There’s no need to re-educate them on the level of quality we expect because they’re already there.”
Designed by Woods Bagot in close collaboration with interiors by Hecker Guthrie and landscape by Acre, Piccolo House – 18 Barry St, Kew is our most refined project to date – a collection of five pavilion-style buildings set within the Studley Park precinct, perched above the Yarra and shaped by over five decades of considered craft.
For Michael Piccolo, Managing Director, “This project has gone to another level. It’s the kind of lifestyle offer that comes from learning over time, and from me personally living in our projects and understanding what works – and what doesn’t.”
With works now underway, the architectural vision that has been carefully developed over years of planning is beginning to take physical form on site. The building will start to emerge in the months ahead, bringing a quietly distinguished presence to one of Kew’s most prized streets.
For those yet to secure a residence, this is a rare opportunity to join the community at an address of genuine distinction, and to be part of the next chapter of Piccolo House.
